As per section 8(1) (a) of West Bengal Schedule Caste and Scheduled Tribes (Identification) Act 1992 an appeal against any refusal under Sec.75 [ or subsection (4) of section 7(A) to issue any certificate shall lie to the District Magistrate, or the Additional District Magistrate authorized by the District Magistrate in this behalf, where the certificate is refused by the Sub- Divisional Officer.]
